Zhenbang Dai, Ph.D
I’m currently a postdoc working in the Giustino group at the University of Texas at Austin. As a computational materials scientist specialized in condensed matter physics and physical chemistry, I focus on developing and leveraging ab initio methods to investigate complex phenomena in materials, including charged polarons, excitonic polarons, bulk photovoltaic effect, anharmonic lattice dynamics, etc. Prior to my current position, I worked with Prof. Andrew M. Rappe for my Ph.D. degree from the Department of Chemistry at University of Pennsylvania in 2022, and obtained my B.S. degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2017.
